外埔忘憂谷位於台中市外埔區，是有「大地畫布」之稱的黃金稻田美景。由於田間小徑宛如一條閃電，亦有「閃電稻田」之稱。每年7月和11月是稻田收割的季節，田園會變成金黃一片，加上一輛已廢棄的黃色校巴(被稱為忘憂巴士)為忘憂谷增添了一份獨特色彩，現已變成了台灣人新興的人氣景點。(***外埔忘憂谷空拍限飛高度為60米***)
Waipu Lotus Valley is located in Waipu District in Taichung, Taiwan. There are overlooking views of glistening rice paddies, the paths in between the rice paddies as connected forms a lightning shape, so it is also called ‘lightning rice paddies’. There is also an abandoned yellow bus in rice paddies, which adds features to the valley.
